KPD worked closely with ESP Project Group and the clients requirements in integrating furniture and services in a new building, housing secondary school rooms, laboratories and chemical storage. Laboratories on this project consisted of both flexible teaching areas with perimeter science benching and central student benching as well as dedicated laboratory benching for senior students. Central to teaching laboratories is a dedicated prep room and chemical storage room with customised sample storage drawers.
KPD when laying out benching and furniture, used industry leading design solutions to enable expandable layoff areas, flexible storage and easily cleanable surfaces. The experience in providing industry level solutions in a secondary school context ensured a smooth project delivery and a very happy client.
