KPD were approached by Intrec to assist with the fitout of the new Catholic Schools NSW headquarters in Sydney. KPD manufactured and installed the detailed joinery work.
The intricately sculptured timber forms derived from religious symbols and cues, demanded a high degree of artisan workmanship including high expertise in French polishing to achieve perfectly uniform colouring throughout the expansive surfaces of book-matched timber. The process was entirely completed within the KPD manufacturing facility.
Furthermore, the project was completed over a restricted programme with limited site access inside an operating high-rise city office block.
