The three-level 6,100 square metres Science Teaching Facility comprises chemistry, biological sciences and earth and environmental teaching laboratories is used for science, health and behavioural and engineering students.
KPD provided the laboratory bench systems to cater for the varied functions between the sciences. All specialist lab furniture was also supplied by KPD requiring customised detailing to suit the design brief.
The top floor also contains research laboratories which allow the University to increase its higher degree research student focus. The new facility features a three-level building with a gross floor area of 9,300 square metres.
