This major project was to be delivered over nine stages then with the onset of the Covid Pandemic and associated funding disruptions, the project extended over three years and 12 stages. This required careful collaboration and closer partnering with Besix Watpac amid widespread material and labour shortages. KPD’s long experience on healthcare projects and association with Besix Watpac made it possible to deliver a high quality project despite the unprecedented disruptions.
The result is an excellent, world class facility. Congratulations to Besix Watpac on their persistence and professionalism.
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services to a diverse, multicultural and ageing local community. With more services and capacity required closer to home for the local community who now no longer need to travel further for specialist treatment.
