KPD supplied the laboratory suspended services reticulation reagent shelving systems along with all the benching, furniture and storage systems throughout the laboratory spaces. Lyons Architects specifically requested KPD’s latest version of the SLS (Suspended Laboratory Services) system with the ARS30 reagent shelf for its adaptability and ease of user clean-ability for decontamination.

Green Chemical Futures (GCF) is a benchmark, 9500m2 multi-level facility located in the North West Precinct at Monash University’s Clayton Campus.

GCF supports the academic and industrial research within the chemicals sector in Australia and provides world-class research to expand Australia’s ‘green workforce’.

Green Chemical Futures houses over 100 chemists and engineers and allows the growth of basic science research to targeted industry-driven research. It has 17 specialist sectors, training programmes for industry practitioners and new laboratory spaces available for over 1000 students and 100 industry partners.

GCF partners with a number of national and international institutions including Yale University (USA), Waseda University (Japan) and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (Mumbai). GCF scientists and engineers collaborate on projects along with CSIRO, the Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association and the Victorian Environmental Protection Agency.
