The Concord Forensic Mental Health Unit forms part of the State Wide Mental Health Infrastructure Program (SWMHIP) and is located within the Concord Repatriation General Hospital campus in Sydney.
The project involved the design and construction of a new three-level facility delivering purpose-built low and medium secure forensic mental health units. The development provides 18 medium secure beds and 24 low secure beds, together with clinical support spaces, secure outdoor courtyard areas and associated amenities.
KPD was engaged to manufacture and install the detailed joinery throughout key operational areas of the facility, supporting both patient accommodation zones and staff areas within the secure healthcare environment.

- Admissions / secure entry
- Medium secure inpatient level including accommodation pods, consumer areas and clinical support spaces
- Low secure inpatient level including accommodation pods, consumer areas and clinical support spaces
- Consolidated shared staff zones
